Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is recruiting boys and girls from ages 5 to the seventh grade for the upcoming season. The Christian organization stresses teamwork and equal participation.

Table tennis tourney

The Maryland Table Tennis Association will host the Maryland Circuit Table Tennis Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1-2, at the club in the Carrolltown Center, Ridge and Liberty roads, Eldersburg.
