The stakes are simple in this matchup of teams with combined records of 11-1. If Westminster defeats Century, the Owls win their second Carroll County title in the past four years. A Century win would move the Knights closer to its first Carroll crown in the school's seven-year football history.

With Westminster's lopsided 58-7 loss last Friday to Linganore team, Century remains the only Carroll team with a perfect record. The Knights are 6-0 and clinched their first winning season with Friday's 39-18 rout of South Carroll. Century has not only won six straight to start the season; they have rolled over the opposition, winning all but one game by at least nine points.

Westminster defeated Francis Scott Key, South Carroll, Liberty and Winters Mill in its first four games to gain an early advantage in the county race.
