Timothy A. “Tim” Bowers, 53, of Westminster died October 29, 2009, at The John Hopkins Hospital. 

Born April 15, 1956 in Hanover, Pa. he was the son of the late Ruth Josephine Bowers and Weldon L. “Bill” Bowers Sr.

He is Survived by his wife Wanda C. Stonesifer Bowers.
   
He was a builder for Elite Custom Homes.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, family and spending time with his granddaughters. 
   
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws Bryan and Carrie Shaffer of New Windsor, Todd and Ashlea Bowers of Westminster, sisters and brother-in-laws Ruth J. and Robert Edwards of Satsuma, Fla., Mary Jane and Ronald Long of Manassas, Va., Linda A. and Richard Nelson of Union Bridge, brothers and sister-in-laws John H. and Ginger Bowers of San Antonio, Texas, Preston L. Sr. and Marge Bowers of Westminster, Carroll T. and Lula Bowers of New Windsor, Gene L. Bowers of Westminster, Robert K. and Laura Bowers of New Windsor, granddaughters Skylar Nicole Bowers and Elizabeth Alice.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother Weldon L. Bowers, Jr. and sister-in-law Margaret Bowers.

Funeral services was held at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with Pastor Paul P. Warnken officiating.  Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with military honors.
