Florence Catherine Munshower, 85, of Westminster, died Feb. 9, 2010, at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

She was the spouse of the late Lake William Leroy Munshower.

She was born June 17, 1924, in Carroll County, the daughter of the late Charles Nickoles and the late Myrtle R. (Merryman) Nickoles.

 She was a homemaker and an avid gardener.

 Surviving her are children Richard Munshower of Easton, Joan Meekins of Hanover, Pa., Gerald Munshower of Parker, Fla. , Ronald Munshower of Clearville, Pa. and Brenda Frebertshauser of Westminster; as well as 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will take place Feb. 15, 7 p.m., at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield. Private Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
