Eric Lee Cote, 28, of Westminster died Sunday June 14, 2009 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born March 22, 1981 in Alexandria, Va. he was the son of Lisa Stonesifer Myers and husband Bill of Fairfield, Pa. and Michael J. Cote and wife Linda of New Windsor. He was the husband of Amanda L. Cote.

He graduated from Westminster High School in 1999 and attended Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island.

He was employed as a chef at various restaurants and was a stay at home dad. He also worked as a mechanic for Gem Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed cooking and fishing.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter Sarah Cote of Westminster, sister Heidi Myers, brothers Jeffrey Allen Cote of Fairfield, Pa., Tommy Myers of Fairfield, Pa., and Matthew Cote of New Windsor, maternal grandparents Roy and Betty Stonesifer of Westminster, paternal grandparents Pauline Cote of Fitchburg, Mass. and the late Marcel Cote. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by daughter Tally Anne Cote. 

Funeral services were held June 16 at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Interment in Morehead Memorial Cemetery in Union Mills.
