Frederick William Will, 87, of Woodbine, formerly of Eldersburg, died April 14, 2009, at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
He was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Eldersburg, the son of the late Frederick Ludwig Will and the late Lottie Mae Knauff Will.
He served in the Army during World war II. He was a member of the Sykesville American Legion and a member of Westminster VFW.
He was a licensed practical nurse at Springfield Hospital Center for 35 years.
He was the husband of M. Louise Cook Will, to whom he had been married 63 years.
He is also survived by daughter and son-in-law Diane L. and Scott Kirk of Woodbine; sister Virginia Brown of Sykesville; and grandchildren Karen Anita and Cynthia Marie Dixon, both of Sykesville, who he referred to as "his girls." He is also survived by nephew Weldon Will and his family and son Glenn Will.
He was preceded in death by siblings Margaret Layton and Weldon Will.
Funeral services were held April 18 at Elders Baptist Church, Eldersburg, with the Pastor Jim Edmonson officiating. Interment will be in Wesley Freedom United Methodist Church Cemetery, Eldersburg.
