Edna F. Trott, 91, of Eldersburg, died April 14, 2009, at Look About Manor in Westminster.

Born Dec. 27, 1917, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie Florence Prager Turco.

She was the wife of the late Wilbur D. Trott.

She had been a homemaker for most of her life. She had been a member of Oakland United Methodist Church for more than 50 years.

Surviving her are daughters and sons-in-law Audrey and Bernard Gosnell and Joyce and Robert Klein, all of Eldersburg; sister Mary Swagler of Westminster; sister-in-law Doris Turco of Eldersburg; grandchildren Stephanie M. Szymanski and her husband Robert, Melanie J. Finch and her husband Gregory, Denton W. Gosnell and his wife Cindy, Karen O. McFarland and her husband Douglas and Phillip Theodore "Ted" Martin and his wife Wendy.

Also surviving her are great-grandchildren Sara Szymanski, Everette Finch, Heather Finch La Rocca and her husband Robert, Scott A. McFarland and his fiancé Abby Miller, Olivia M. McFarland, Emily L. Martin, Lydia A. Martin and P. Grant Martin and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by siblings James "Clinton" Turco Sr., Louis Turco and Audrey Turco.

Funeral services were held April 18 at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville, with the Rev. Mary Ellen Glorioso and Scott McFarland officiating. Interment was in New Oakland Cemetery, Sykesville.

Memorial donations may be made to Oakland United Methodist Church, 5901 Mineral Hill Rd., Sykesville, MD 21784 or to a charity of choice.
