Oliver Dorsey Chenoweth, 84, of Westminster, died Oct. 2, 2008, at Carroll Hospice Dove House, in Westminster.
Born Oct. 9, 1923, in Baltimore he was the son of the late Oliver Dorsey Chenoweth and Marquerite Palmer Chenoweth. He was the husband of the late Florence Moore Chenoweth.
He was retired from the Baltimore County Sheriff's Department.
He is survived by devoted friend Barbara Holtzman of Westminster; brother Donald Chenoweth of Florida; and niece Elizabeth Pearsall of Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by son Larry Chenoweth.
Gravesides services were held Oct. 7 at Woodlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. David S. Schafer officiating. Arrangements were by Fletcher Funeral Home, Westminster.
