Marie Bollinger, 87, of Sykesville

Marie "Pat" Bollinger, 87, of Sykesville died Oct. 25, 2008, at her home.
Born May 18, 1921, in Baltimore County, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Susie Yox Klingelhofer.
She was the wife of the late Howard "Duke" Bollinger who died in 2003.
She worked 32 years at Springfield Hospital Center as a beautician. She enjoyed bowling and time spent at the Merritt Athletic Club.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Community since 1947, where she had been active in the Sodality.
She is survived by sons Mark Bollinger of Mount Airy and Jerome Bollinger of Sykesville and grandsons Mark Bollinger Jr., John Bollinger and Matthew Bollinger. She is also survived by two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Wenda Bollinger and siblings Elbert Klingelhofer, Edith Schaefer, Anna Korman and Leona Ridgley.
A funeral liturgy was held Oct. 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Eldersburg, with the Rev. David McQuigan as celebrant. Interment was in Lake View Memorial Park.
Arrangements were by Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
