Wanda Geraldine Sams, 64, of Westminster, died Oct. 21, 2008, at her residence.

Born June 11, 1944, in Winnfield, La., she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Clemons Graham Sr. and Rita Gertrude Bateman.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Prior to retiring, she worked at the Hecht Co.

She is survived by daughter Nicole V. Youngman of Hanover, Pa.; brother and sister-in-law Nicholas Clemons Graham Jr. and Cheryl Graham of Mechanicsville; and sister and brother-in-law Carrie Rebecca Richardson and Kenneth Leroy Richardson of Laurel.

She is also survived by grandchildren Rodney and Angela Irons; Ryan Sams, Rachel, John and Jacob Youngman; great-grandchildren Christian and Matthew Sodeloski; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by children Wanda Geraldine Dipietro, Richard Douglas Sams and Jean Marie Sams, and fiancé John Ogle.

Prayer services were held Oct. 25 at Fletcher Funeral Home, Westminster, with Deacon Joe Cinquino officiating. Interment was private.
