Matthew Joseph Boles, 17, of Westminster, died Oct. 25, 2008, from injuries received in an automobile accident on Route 31 in Frederick County.
Born March 19, 1991, in Round Rock, Texas, he was the son of Patrick Francis Boles Sr. and Michelle LeNette Hooper Boles of Westminster.
He was a senior at Westminster High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in Westminster.
He was also a member of Boy Scout Troop 595, and was working on his Eagle Scout project. He was an avid skateboarder.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers and sisters Kristen M. Boles of South Bend, Ind., Patrick F. "Jr.", Natalie A., Caitlin M., Bradley T., Shannon E. and Rebecca C. Boles, all of Westminster; and maternal grandparents Albert J. and Rhea Hooper of Hill Top Lakes, Texas.
He is also survived by aunts, uncles , cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Vincent F. and Matilda E. Boles.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 595 Johann Dr., Westminster, with Bishop Jeff Cook officiating. Interment will be private.
