The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is asking people to help identify and provide the location of a suspect who they say is stealing identities and cash.

The man had victimized a Hampstead man by withdrawing $1,500 from his account after he obtained the account number by placing a skimming device on a Bank of America ATMs, police said.

The suspect had then made duplicate debit cards and then used them at two M&T Banks in November 2009, police said.

The suspect withdrew $500 on Nov. 14, 2009, from the M&T Bank at 250 W. Pratt St., Baltimore, then on Nov. 15, withdrew $700 from the M&T Bank at 625 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid- to late- 30s, approximately five-foot, eight-inches to six-foot tall and weighing 160 to 170 pounds, police said.
