WESTMINSTER -- Westminster Library is sporting a new look in one of its circulation areas after a project by design firm Adler Display, which completed a train-themed children's area at the Westminster branch.

The children's area of the library now has a train-themed play environment, which was created as part of a larger library renovation project designed to educate children about Westminster history.

The display includes a large train engine and a caboose that children can climb into with levers and games; a box car with computer stations; a water tower and tunnel; and a clock tower.

The inspiration for the display came from the location of the children's area -- which overlooks the train track that crosses Main Street in downtown Westminster. When trains come through town, children can look out the window to watch.
