As the area digs out from the weekend snow storm, local students will get two extra days off. Carroll County Public Schools has announced that schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

A liberal leave policy will be in effect for CCPS employees.

A public hearing scheduled tonight on the school system's proposed budget will be rescheduled, but a date has not been announced.
