All Carroll County Government offices will close at 3 p.m. Friday because of inclement weather.

Also, on Saturday, Feb. 6, both Northern and Hoods Mill landfills will be closed, as will the Carroll County Humane Society.

Throughout the storm, the Emergency Operations Center will be active to coordinate response and recovery efforts. A non-emergency information line will be established Friday beginning at 3 p.m. Residents will be able to call 1-888-5GET EOC (543-8362).

The center will remain open as long as necessary, according to a county government release.
