Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. will give the keynote address at Carroll County-Boy Scouts of America breakfast on February 4 at 8:30 a.m. at the Westminster VFW on Poole Road.

February 2010 is the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, and the breakfast will kick off a year of celebration for Scouting in Carroll.
 
The Carroll County Boy Scouts of America has more than 2,000 youth in its program along with 1,200 adult volunteers in 72 units.

The Westminster VFW is located at 519 Pool Road, Westminster.

In 2003, Gov. Ehrlich was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, a council-level award recognizing adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. It is award the highest award a council can bestow on an adult.
