SYKESVILLE — Piney Run Park will host a sledding festival on the first snowy Saturday of the New Year ... if Mother Nature cooperates. Sledfest will be held providing that there is at least 4 inches of snow on the ground by 7 a.m., that day.
The first possible day would be Jan. 2.
Park gates, 30 Martz Road, Sykesville, will open at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. There will be a $2 per vehicle fee. Call 410-795-3274 starting at 9:30 a.m. to confirm if Sledfest will be held that day.
