Capitol Steps perform in benefit for Arc of Carroll

WESTMINSTER — The Arc of Carroll County will present The Capitol Steps in an evening of music and comedy, Sunday, Nov. 15, 3 p.m., at Century High School, 355 Ronsdale Road, Sykesville.

The Capitol Steps are Congressional staffers-turned-comedians who satirize people and events of the Nation's Capitol.

Guest actors on stage for 'Romeo and Harriet'

WESTMINSTER — The Shakespeare spoof, "Romeo and Harriet," will open Friday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m., at the Carroll County Arts Center, 91 W. Main St., Westminster, and continue Saturday, Nov. 14, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 15, 3 p.m.

The story is set in modern New York, and will have guest stars including Westminster Mayor Kevin Utz (Nov. 13); West Middle School principal Tom Hill (Nov. 14, 3 p.m.); Westminster Police Sgt. Keith Benfer (Nov. 14, 7 p.m.) and Harry's Main Street Grille owner Harry Sirinakis (Nov. 15).

Journey hosts screening of human rights documentary

Maryland boychoir joins St. Luke's Church in song
