Maryland State Police are asking for tips to help identify who robbed the Subway in Eldersburg on Sunday.
At about 7:45 p.m. Sunday, the state police responded to an armed robbery at the sub shop, 1912 Liberty Road, Eldersburg where a white man entered the store with a knife and demanded that the employee open the register, police said. The employee turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fleed, police said.
Police used a state police helicopter to attempt to locate the suspect without success.
Police describe the suspect as a white man who wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, work boots and a blue bandana that covered his face.
Anyone with information should call Trooper Tony Dubas of the Westminster Barrack Criminal Investigation Section at 410-386-3000.
