WESTMINSTER — Carroll Area Transit System, the nonprofit agency that provides transportation services in Carroll County, will offer its Carroll Summer Explorer Pass for children ages 14-17.

The pass will allow children unlimited rides from now to Aug. 28 on the four CATS shuttle routes.

The cost for the pass is $25. The pass can be used for transportation on any of the four CATS shuttle routes, the Westminster Shuttle, the Westminster-Eldersburg Shuttle, the South Carroll Shuttle and the Taneytown Shuttle.

Schedules can be found on the CATS Web site at www.carrolltransit.org and at locations throughout the county. Shuttles run on regular schedules and no advance reservation is required.

Passengers can make transfers from one shuttle to another at designated transfer locations.

All shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible. In addition to the shuttles, CATS operates on-demand (advanced scheduled door-to-door) service.

For details, go to www.carrolltransit.org or call 410-876-RIDE.
