WILLETT in concert The independent rock band, WILLET, will perform on Sunday, 10:30 a.m., at New Hope Church, 1129 Business Parkway South, Westminster. Free. This band from Westminster tours internationally, performing more than 200 dates annually. Founding members and brothers are Jeremy, Justin and Jordan Willet, who now tour with drummer Caleb Douglass.

Gingerbread masterpieces Gingerbread Houses for Teens is a program being held Monday, 6 p.m. at the Mount Airy Library, 705 Ridge Ave., Mount Airy, for ages 13 to 17. Gingerbread enthusiast Meg Griffin will demonstrate how to design, construct and decorate a gingerbread house. The gingerbread house fronts can be displayed on a shelf, or turned into a complete house. Call 410-386-4488.

Carroll Singers The 55-member Carroll Singers, under the direction of Beverly Mauck, will present its Holiday Concert, "Go Tell It On The Mountain", on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m. each night, at Westminster High School, 1225 Washington Road. Heart health A heart risk and lifestyle screening for men and women will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. The screening includes checks of blood pressure, cholesterol/triglycerides, a comprehensive metabolic panel blood profile, body composition analysis, a heart health awareness and counseling with a nurse. Holiday kickoff Carroll County will host its annual holiday kickoff event at the Carroll County Government Office Building, 225 N. Center St., Westminster at 6 p.m. The event features holiday music from local music groups, including the Westminster Elementary School fifth-grade band and fifth-grade orchestra, as well as refreshments.

Cards to carry Holiday Card making is a program for adults, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mount Airy Library, 705 Ridge Ave., Mount Airy. Card maker Jenny Eddington teach how to make your own card in time for the holidays. Materials will be provided. Call 410-386-4488.

Festival of Wreaths The Carroll County Arts Council will unveil its 12th annual Festival of Wreaths, Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Carroll Arts Center, 91 W. Main St., Westminster. The festival features more than 200 decorated theme wreaths on display through a five-day silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Carroll County Arts Council. The public can also vote for favorites and awards in several categories will be presented. After Wednesday, hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Bidding ends at 4 p.m. Dec. 6. Call 410-848-7272.

Don't forget 'Rudolph' A free screening of the 1964 television special, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer," will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Carroll County Arts Center, 91 W. Charlie and the jazz "A Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas" will be held at the Carroll Arts Center, 91 W. Main St., Westminster, on Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. The show will combine the animated holiday film with a live performance of the film's Vince Guaraldi jazz score by the Eric Byrd Trio.
