Culinary Experience On Monday, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County will host its 10th annual A Culinary Experience at Martins Westminster. 'Legh Master' returns The legend of Legh Master, a wealthy Englishman who settled near Westminster about 1771, will be the subject of the next Box Lunch Talk hosted by the Historical Society of Carroll County, on Tuesday, noon-1 p.m. at the American Legion on the corner of Green and Sycamore streets in Westminster. Don Riley, author of the book, "The Ghost of Legh Furnace," will speak. The cost is $4. Participants may bring a lunch; beverage and dessert provided. Call 410-848-6494.

Pop into the library Westminster Library, 50 E. Main St., Westminster, will host Popcorn Poppin' Fun for home schoolers Tuesday at 2 p.m. Al ages can come to celebrate October as National Popcorn Poppin' Month. Seniors on the Go The Carroll County Bureau of Aging will host its Seniors on the Go Expo on Wednesday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Shipley Arena, Carroll County Ag Center, 700 Agricultural Dr., Westminster. The expo will include information on senior activities and recreation in the county, as well as a health, wellness and fitness fair, a flu shot clinic, a blood drive and a job fair will be held. Puppets at Piney Run Piney Run Nature Center, 30 Martz Road, Sykesville, will host a performance of the Timberdoodle Puppet Theater on Thursday at 10 a.m. The Piney Run Players will present a nature puppet show and talk about the main characters. Bedlam continues The Bedlam in the Boro haunted house, hosted by the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department, 4224 Main St., Lineboro, continues Friday and Saturday, 7-10:30 p.m. each night.
