"17 Again" (PG-13). Not reviewed. This comedy stars Matthew Perry as a middle-aged father who magically becomes 17 again (in the form of Zac Efron) and gets to re-do his glory years. TownMall Cinemas (11:50 am, 2:20, 4:50, 7:20, 9:50), Carrolltown 6 Cinemas (1:35, 4:25, 6:50)

"Adventureland" (PG-13). This sweet-natured story features Jesse Eisenberg as a college graduate who can't afford the European summer trip he'd like to take and instead goes to work at an amusement park near his home. Amusing life lessons also make more serious points. Grade: B TownMall Cinemas (4:20, 7:55, 10:20)

"Crank: High Voltage" (R). Not reviewed. Jason Statham stars in this action-adventure as a hitman whose heart has been replaced with a battery-powered device he must figure out how to keep running. TownMall Cinemas (12:10, 2:40, 5:00, 7:40, 10:15)

"Dragonball: Evolution" (PG). Justin Chatwin stars in this graphic novel-derived fantasy as a teen whose martial arts skills are overseen by a wise grandfather. The story doesn't make sense and the special effects aren't special. Grade: C- TownMall Cinemas (1:30)

"Hannah Montana the Movie" (G). Young girls will like this autobiographical story about Miley Cyrus and her stage identity and their parents will be pleased that it's wholesome entertainment. All others should pick another movie. Grade: C TownMall Cinemas (11:30 am, 2:00, 4:30, 7:00, 9:30), Carrolltown 6 Cinemas (1:40, 4:20, 7:00)

"I Love You, Man" (R). Paul Rudd plays a newly engaged man who realizes that he does not have any close male friends who could serve as his best man, so he recruits Jason Segel to take on that duty. This buddy-buddy comedy is formulaic, but it's not as lowbrow as the genre norm. Grade: B TownMall Cinemas (1:50)

"Monsters vs. Aliens 3-D" (G). Small kids will be entertained by the monster mash that ensues when so many animated creatures share the screen. It's fast, funny and packs a moral about looking out for friends who come in all shapes and sizes. Grade: B TownMall Cinemas (12:00, 2:30, 5:00, 7:30, 10:00), Carrolltown 6 Cinemas (1:55, 4:15, 6:55)

"State of Play" (PG-13). Russell Crowe plays a Washington journalist investigating Ben Affleck as his college friend-turned-congressman. Grade: B TownMall Cinemas (1:00, 4:00, 7:10, 10:10), Carrolltown 6 Cinemas (1:30, 4:00, 6:45)
