The Board of Education -- will hold an administrative meeting Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. in Room 007 of the Board of Education offices, 125 N. Court St., Westminster. A work session on the State Middle School Report will be held following the administrative meeting.

Hailey's Wish -- will sponsor a Longaberger basket bingo Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Manchester Volunteer Fire Dept. Activities Building. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with concessions and vendor sales. Games begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for 20 games. Proceeds will be used to help build an accessible playground at Carroll Springs School.
