Natalie Pappas, of New Windsor, presented "Youth Voting in Presidential Elections."
Chris Wright, of Manchester, presented "The Declaration of Independence and its Rhetorical Influence on Americans.
And Joseph Kunkel, also of Manchester, presented "The Absence of Care in Simone de Beauvoir's Authentic Marriage.'
Also at Salisbury University, Jason Collins and Stephanie Rae Green participated in the university's Big Event community cleanup day.
Green, daughter of Johnny Green and Pamela Pearson-Green of Mount Airy, is a junior majoring in social work. She is a member of the fishing club and volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Collins, son of Jay and Kimberely Collins of Westminster, is a junior majoring in communication arts.
He is vice president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and a 2005 graduate of South Carroll High School.
Heather Cobun, of Eldersburg, was named to Susquehanna University's dean's list for fall 2009 . The list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester.
Cobun, a senior majoring in political science and communications with an emphasis in journalism, is a 2006 graduate of Liberty High School and the daughter of Kim and Steve Cobun.
She was also among more than 154 students honored in October as a University Scholar at Susquehanna, and was elected to The Crusader student newspaper editorial board.
Cobun is serving as managing editor of content for the 2009-10 academic year.
