Thanksgiving -- A Thanksgiving Eve Service will be held at Deer Park United Methodist Church, Smallwood, on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Kathy Rohrbach of Trinity Lutheran Church will preach at the service, sponsored by both the United Methodist and the Lutheran churches in Smallwood. A collection of non-perishable foods will be conducted, with items donated to Carroll Food Sunday.

Shabbat Dinner -- Beth Shalom Congregation of Carroll County, 2020 W. Liberty Road, Winfield, will host a Dairy Potluck Shabbat Dinner at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.
