The film, "It's So Much Work to Be Your Friend," will be shown at the Carroll Arts Center, 91 W. Main St., Westminster, on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 6 to 8 p.m.

The video, by Richard Lavoie, is designed to help people understand why children with disabilities have problems with social interactions and relationships. Children and adults can see the correct way to go on a play date, read body language, choose a friend, conduct a conversation, overcome shyness, and adjust to new situations. Little Gym is drop-off for Toys for Tots

The Little Gym of Mount Airy is serving as a drop-off point for Toys for Tots, sponsored by the Marine Corps.

The Toys for Tots Program collects new unwrapped toys during November and December for needy children in the area.

Toys may be dropped off at Little Gym, 2702 Back Acre Circle, Mount Airy, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon. Call 301-829-4416.
