South Carroll Senior and Community Center -- 5745 Bartholow Road, Eldersburg, is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. A well-balanced meal is served daily at noon. The cost for the meal is a contribution up to $3.48 for seniors 60 years of age or older; under 60 is $3.35. Reservations for meals must be made by 10 a.m. the day prior. Call 410-549-1357. *Thursday, Nov. 13, 12:30 p.m., Sister Marie Seton of LifeBridge will speak on "Pre-Diabetes and Diabetes."

*Tuesday, Nov. 18, 9 a.m. to noon, haircuts.

*Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m., the Carroll Senior Singers will perform.

*Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, Site Council Holiday Bazaar with crafts, lunch, ceramics and baked goods.

*Tuesday, Nov. 25, noon, turkey dinner followed at 1 p.m. by Drama Club play, "Thanksgiving Dinner with the Pilgrims & Indians." Reservations must be made for dinner by Nov. 17 by calling the center at 410-549-1357.
