Russell and Patricia Whitten of Eldersburg are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Whitten, to Aurelius Graninger, son of Arellis and Rebecca Graninger of Westminster.

Nicole is a 2005 graduate of Liberty High School, and Aurelius is a 2005 graduate of North Carroll High School.

Both currently attend UMBC, Nicole as a chemistry major/physics minor, and Aurelius as a computer engineering major.

A June 2009 wedding is planned, after which they will attend graduate school.
